TORN BETWEEN 3 GUYS

I know it's Christmas and I should be posting some Christmas-ey but I'd rather not to.

I'm torn between 3 guys I'm dating and eventually, I need to decide which of them will I choose to be my partner.

Here is some simple descriptions about them:

Guy 1: I met him online and we talk mostly on YM. He's the typical mayabang since he's one of the stockholders of a company. The problem is, he doesn't want to go on a date, even a man-date.

Guy 2: He's one of the cutest guys I've ever met. I met him when I traveled back to the country. I like him and of course he likes me too. But there's one problem, since he's still young (No! I'm not that cradle-snatcher, bitch!), he tends to be that very idealistic and a very cheesy person which irate me.

Guy 3: He is not that uber hot and handsome guy, but one thing is for sure – he's really witty and makes me laugh all the time.

So which among the three should I choose?

HERMIT MODE

I've never done this for a long time. This is one of the things I missed with myself –a home buddy.

Last weekend, since none of my friends invited me to have a dose of caffeine and nicotine at the nearby coffee shop, I decided to stay home for a change.

Friday night, before I went home from the office, I did some groceries for my cooking session for Saturday. I bought pasta, chicken breasts, ranch dressing, tomatoes, carrots, peas, parmesan, a griller, and a pan. Whew! I'm really getting serious with this home cooking. I also bought a nice red wine to match the pasta mi favorito.

It was six in the morning when my music player alarmed and started playing Love Bug by the Jonas Brothers. It's the start of a lovely and lazy weekend.

Since I'm alone in my pad, I did some sort of house cleaning first. I have to make sure that my tiny little abode is squeaky clean. I arranged my stuffs and laundry, threw the trashes into the dust bin, cleaned my cupboard and looked if there's a canned good for breakfast. Err, found nothing.

While my music player is shuffling all my favorite mp3's, I still managed to do the laundry and clean the shower area. The fresh pine scent of the shower area will be definitely a good quickie place (pun intended). Ha ha ha!

When I'm done with all my weekend chores, I started to cook my favorite dish. Dice, chop, slice, simmer, grill, sauté. Ohh, the scent of the melted butter was a delight. I really enjoyed my cooking session and the food, of course. Too bad, no one shared with me.

I spent the rest of the day reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I missed this favorite.

Sunday, since no plans still, I got an idea - to try out my new home speaker. I went out to buy some pirated dvds at the nearby shop. I bought 3 chick flicks actually. I want to feel to be in a movie house with all that sounds and be an emo for the day. Success! I cried a lot. Haha!

Before the day ended, I went to hear the mass to thank Him for a wonderful year. It was a helluva roller coaster ride but it's fun!

And hey, I'm planning to cook another dish again this weekend before flying home. I want to know if my pasta really tastes good or awful. Maybe, I should invite this cute guy I met at the plane on my way back home. LOL!

Ahhh, the best things in life comes unexpected like now. And I'm not rushing to have this as my boyfriend even though that Christmas is fast approaching. I'm still getting pleasure from being single and a hermit during weekends.

SMILE MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE

The traffic along Ayala Avenue this morning stressed him. He's already running late for an appointment and he needs to be there immediately but it's impossible. There's still a long queue line of cars before crossing Buendia.

To reduce his stress, he rolled down the car's window and decided to smoke. He haven't consumed a single stick since his previous post.

He was about to light my cigarette when he saw a cute little girl at the other car. Her window was also rolled down. He took a glance at her and she did the same to him, and eventually he took it back.

And when he looked at her again, she's smiling. Oh, that smile melted his heart. He also gave her a smile and waved at her.

With that smile, he decided to put back my cigarette to its pack and exactly, the traffic light was already green.

The kid's smile made his day.

So smile! Because smile makes a big difference in our everyday lives!

PET PEEVES 101

He was riding at the MTR this morning on his way to the office when this very gorgeous guy, so hot that if ever he gets wet, the whole metro will be flooded, came inside the coach. He can't take off his eyes on this guy and he felt nirvana as he looked at him. This guy's biceps were toned that it wasJustify Full a delight to touch; it even made him sexier with his fitted long sleeves attire. His crotch was even quite bulging and Buboy thinks that this guy was still on his flag ceremony.

HOWEVER, this gorgeous guy started picking his nose and spreading his balled yuckitiyucks on the train's handrails. The once delightful scenery became a disaster.

Let me tell you some of Buboy's pet peeves aside from what was stated above:

  1. He does not want a guy who has those black alien entities on their fingernails. Hey, it's a basic proper hygiene!
  2. Of course, no one wants to be with someone with body odor. Would you mind to put some deo's on your underarms dude?!
  3. He hates guys who perspire excessively. He just can't imagine of having a hot sex with someone and pouring buckets of sweat on his face, or a partner who is a walking microwave oven.
  4. A major turn off with guys who do not wash their hands after holding their rods.
  5. He does not want to suck your birdie smells poop. Wash them before you go to bed or a duel, ok?
  6. After a hot sex or even a wet dream, he pleads you to fix up your bed before you leave.
  7. Wash your oily face! Buboy's face is not a sponge to absorb them while you kissing him.
  8. He does not want a guy who does not know how to clean his own bedroom. He does not want to have a fucking session with a place which is a total mess.
  9. He hates makulit. If Buboy said NO, it's NO! Don't make any appeal.
  10. And lastly, hey, he can't lend his toothbrush but would you mind to brush your teeth and gargle with alcohol?

PRE-CHRISTMAS POST

Christmas is just a few days away and this year is a much anticipated event will be.

Even there were downturns that happened in his life, there are still so many reasons to celebrate Christmas and be thankful for a wonderful year. He is an optimist; he tries to stay positive. He counts his blessings instead of sheep as they always say.

During the first months of this year, his colleagues recognized how he worked hard on his job. Although he was not promoted or received any monetary amount, a tap on his back would suffice it all. At least people in his office appreciated him for a job well done. Not only had his colleagues, his clients also appreciated his efforts, it's good to know that they trusted him that much.

He lost a very special person that occupies his heart, yet he gained a lot of friends. There is no other way but to move on but that part of his heart will remain for that special person. He's thankful enough that at least he's able to cope up with the heartbreak easier because his friends kept him entertained. He's single now and remained to be in that status. Probably, he's still enjoying the freedom of being single and not committed.

Before the year ends, this guy received good news. He received a job offer he didn't expect to come. Buti na lang, bumawi si Bro pagkatapos ng mga nangyari. He's thankful for this opportunity.

With that, there are enough reasons to feast the Noche Buena this coming Christmas. He's so much excited to fly home and celebrate with his family and friends.

Maybe that's for now.

Merry Christmas everyone! Cheers!

THE WANDERER

It's Saturday morning and this man's fitting his office barong for today's meeting with the clients. The suit is one of the best in its class. Its simple embroidered design made it more elegant. As he pulled out the buttons while facing the mirror, he can see himself now as a young and successful professional. The man in the mirror already became matured and outgrown from what he was before.

During his grade school days, this guy was an underdog in his class. When he was in grade 2, he still doesn't know how to read. His grades always fall below 80 and he was seated at the back of the classroom. His mom would always grow fuming. He even had a hard time to write. His mom always give him a pinch on his pale skin, his notebooks and school books fly as his mom throws them. This kid cried silently under his pillows.

Come high school, he tried harder and became more serious in his studies. But his perseverance wasn't enough. He has a younger brother who's smarter and always gets the attention. Even though this guy made it to the top section of his batch, the younger was a valedictorian. He's really envious of his brother, he felt he was ignored. He was always compared with why he isn't as intelligent as his sibling.

When he entered college, he promised himself to prove to his parents that he's really worth it. He battled drowsiness only to finish his homework. He became more attentive in class and he became a consistent Dean's Lister. That accomplishment didn't stop him to dream higher. But his senior year college became a challenge to him. It's like life conspired on him. His studies were stuck at the brink of failure. But he didn't give up easily; he knew that he can outsmart the failures luring on him.

As a fruit of his labor, he graduated with flying colors.

This guy who once was an underdog is now almost on the top of his career. He's thankful to his mom for giving him a spank, a slap and a tight hug when he's asleep every night because those gestures of love made him of what he is right now.

UNTITLED

amber preserved a history,

as precious as you do,

dug deeply beneath the earth,

as I seek the love from you.

swift wind comes along,

as our childhood past,

hiding like the sunset,

as I keep my feelings in a dift box.

I was in high school I when scribbled this short poem but until now I can't think of a title yet…

SOUL SEARCHING

The last stick of cigarette between my two fingers gave me a reason to stay longer on where I was seated. After a few puffs, I pondered how my life became this year. It was really a turning point suggesting me to start anew.

I stumble for a quite number of times but I didn't learn. I lost yet I didn't try to fight for what is really for me. I just let them pass.

As the sun sets at the horizon and my cigarette stick is about to be consumed, I witnessed a scenery waiting to unfold – the blast of orange light plowing out the blue horizon. Yet, the panorama of excitement didn't last that long. It was so good that it has to end in a jiffy, just like what happened on my past which is waiting to be erased at the back of my mind.

Now, I no longer even know who I am. I don't know what I want. I have no idea of who I want to be. I just don't know.

The only thing I know for sure is I need to soul search on my new adventure. I need to find the one who once became me.

WHO’S YOUR BET?

I'm not really into politics, but lately I become more interested in choosing a leader of our nation. This will be my first time to vote although I'm already on my 20's.

I was having a chat with a friend when out of nowhere; he asked me whom I'm going to vote on the next election.

I weighed-in those presidential aspirants and I'm putting my bet to Gibo. It's not because he has the looks ala-Mr. Pogi but he's earning his credibility in leading this third-world-country. Although he's been quiet before he was announced to be the standard bearer of the administration (read: I said I'm not really into politics, I don't care if he is part of the administration or with the opposition), his accomplishments are now slowly resurfacing. And unlike other aspirants, Gibo stayed put on the ground.

I'm annoyed how other aspirants spill out deliberately what they've done during their terms. Villar's stunt of fetching abused OFW's, Roxas' pedicab performance and Noynoy's sympathy-drama from his parents, I JUST HATE IT!

Well, I hope that the next LEADer of our nation will really LEAD us to a more developed, less corrupt country.
